Sandy Ringer, LCSW-RPT-S, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing services to patients from 3 years old through adulthood.
Sandy has worked as a therapist for about 15 years, receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Purdue University and a Master of Social Work degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
After several years of training, she completed certification as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, her specialty. Play therapy can be used with adults as well as children. Other modalities of treatment that Sandy utilizes are cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
She has worked in community mental health and primary care settings, providing behavioral health services. “I believe working in an integrated behavioral health setting has many benefits to the patient and as a therapist to have access to medical professionals for continuity of care.“
