Board of Trustees
Pulaski Memorial Hospital
Pulaski Memorial Hospital’s Board of Trustees comprises six local community members and one physician from the Hospital’s Medical Staff. Members serve four-year terms and can serve for three consecutive terms.
The Trustees are responsible for cost-effective policy decisions appropriate to the hospital’s mission, implementing and maintaining high-quality services, measuring performance, reporting information, and providing input regarding state policy, budgeting, and state and federal standards.
The board meets monthly with the CEO, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Patient Administration on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. The Board does not meet in July or December.
Adam Bennett
Board Vice President
Adam joined the Board of Trustees in January of 2022. He currently services as the Vice President of the Board.
Adam works for People Driven Technology and coaches Track and Cross Country for Winamac schools. His wife Mandy teaches at Eastern Pulaski Elementary school. Together they have two children.
Charles Hutton, DDS
Board President
Dr. Charles Hutton, DDS joined the Board of Trustees in September of 2014. He currently serves as the President of the Board.
Dr. Hutton had a long time dental practice in Winamac before retiring. Dr. Hutton and his wife Donna, have two children and two grandchildren.
In his free time, Dr. Hutton enjoys fly fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities.
Clint L. Kauffman, MD
Dr. Clint Kauffman joined the Board of Trustees in August of 2019, serving as the Medical Staff representative on the Board.
Dr. Kauffman has been with PMH since 2013. Prior to joining PMH’s Medical and Surgical Group, he had a private practice in Winamac.
As a Family Medicine and Women’s Health provider, Dr. Kauffman treats patients of all ages. He sees patients at the Group’s Winamac Clinic. He also serves with the hospital’s Inpatient Care Group (ICG), caring for patients admitted to the hospital’s Medical/Surgical ward.
Mike McKay
Mike McKay joined the Board of Trustees in June of 2022.
Mike McKay has been a Pulaski county resident since 1997 and lives just west of Medaryville with his wife Valerie. Together they have four kids and three grandchildren. They also serve as foster parents, fostering over 30 children in their home over the last six years.
After graduating from Purdue, Mike was a shop teacher at Kankakee Valley High School for 11 years, and coached high school baseball for 16 years and football for seven years. While teaching at KV, Mike earned his masters degree in School Administration from Indiana State. Mike is employed as a crop insurance agent at Timm Services in Medaryville.
Mike and his family attend Bethel Bible Church where Mike serves as an elder and on the youth ministry team.
Jennifer Mellon
Jennifer Mellon joined the Board of Trustees in October of 2024.
Jennifer and her husband Tyson live just outside Francesville with their three children.
Jennifer is a Speech-Language Pathologist for West Central Schools and Cooperative School Services.
Jennifer is active in her church and kids’ extracurriculars. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
Jennifer Smith
Board Secretary
Jennifer Smith joined the Board of Trustees in February of 2022. She currently serves as the Board Secretary.
Jennifer and her husband, Daniel, live in Monterey. They have two grown children. She works for First National Bank of Monterey and previously served as a Board Member for the Monterey Public Library.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading and visiting with family and friends.
Taylor White
Taylor White joined the Board of Trustees in November of 2022.
Taylor White resides in Pulaski County on a family farm with her husband, Grant White, and three children. Grant both farms and is an engineer at the local Braun Corporation and Taylor provides independent design services on a commercial and residential scale while focusing on raising her children. Taylor also is employed at Edward Jones in Winamac.
She graduated from Purdue University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Sciences. While at Purdue, she also earned a minor in Interior Design and her teaching credentials in Family and Consumer Science education.
Taylor is a lifetime resident of Pulaski County and has both participated in and supported the community consistently throughout that time. She has volunteered in the local 4-H program, coached athletics at Winamac Community Schools, sponsored academic and community based clubs and is an active member of her local church. Her family history also ties back to the community with four generations that currently reside in the county. She loves spending quality time with family, personal fitness and the opportunity for new adventures.
